assistance to the egyptian government saying no specific decisions have yet been made. meanwhile in today's "new york times," the paper says the egyptian military is facing a, quote, serious long term problem if the united states cuts the $1.3 billion in aid which would effectively block the egyptians from buying american weapons. so even if the saudis interject with the money, we won't get to buy our weapons and military stuff. that man, hosni mubarak, a court will review a petition from him which will determine whether or not the former president of egypt will be released from prison. lawyers expect a decision this afternoon. turning now to the boston bombing case, newly unsealed court documents are revealing the extent of tsarnaev's injuries. the trauma surgeon who treated tsarnaev says he suffered multiple gunshot wounds including a bullet to his face. the surgeon says it fractured his skull and did, quote,

significant soft tissue damage. the report also notes the 20-year-old was bleeding from several other injuries. tsarnaev pleaded not guilty and is being held in a federal medical center in massachusetts. and at legal case, the prosecution has rested in the court marshall of army major nidal hasan. 90 witnesses took the stand over 11 days identifying him as the gunman who opened fire at the texas military base that killed 13 people and wounded more than 30. hasan, a military psychiatrist who is representing himself in the case, is scheduled to begin presenting his defense today. but there are reports that he might not the offer any defense at all. a move that could possibly lead to the death penalty. police in georgia have made an are arrest a and are questioning a man they believe opened fire at an elementary school in the atlanta metro area. 20-year-old michael brandon hill is accused of firing at least

half a dozen shots with an ak-47. police believe hill entered the school by slipping behind someone who had access to the building's locked doors. he also reportedly made a school employee call a local television station demanding a crew to, quote, start filming as police die. the school hasn't an enrollment of over 800 students from pre-k to fifth grade. thankfully no injuries were reported. the suspect faces several charges including aggravated as suggest, making terrorist threats, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. now, obviously a lot of pretty disturbing news today. if that one didn't disit turn you, this one most certainly will. three teens have been accused of killing an australian man attending ap-oklahoma college on a baseball scholarship. their motive, the teens were reportedly bored. and decided to kill someone for the fun of it.
